Each role mentioned above is considered to be role models. When referring to an organization, role models are the leaders of the organization. They could be team leads, managers, directors, or the top person in charge, the chief executive officer. The leaders are responsible for creating the workplace environment. Descriptive Essay It was a seemingly beautiful day as I drove on a joy ride in my bright blue sports car, with the wind in my hair. This is an everyday activity for me. My friends would mock me saying, â€Å"You spend more money on gas than you make working.† I laughed to myself at the thought of jokes amongst my friends. That happiness was soon halted. As I continued driving, I saw a car coming rapidly around the curve. The car did not show any signs of slowing down as it headed towards the intersection. The light turned yellow and then quickly red. Another object caught my eye that made me fear what was going to happen next. A young couple started crossing the street wearing fancy attire. The first thought that came to mind was, ‘they are†¦show more content†¦One of the police officers came up to me introduced himself, asked me my name and started, â€Å"Have you ever seen this driver before? On the road or around town?† I quickly responded, â€Å"No, I have not office r.† He continued, â€Å"I learned from the call back to the station that the driver, David Chrisenger, is considered the town drunk and does not currently have a valid license due to drinking and driving†. Dante and the Road to Humanism During the Renaissance, the ideology of humanism became extremely popular. After the black plague people presumed that God had abandoned them. As a result, they began to search for their own answers through observation and experimentation; this method was called empiricism. Through this, man began to place himself at the center of the universe instead of God. Individuals began to embrace their own talents and spend less time worrying about the next life and more living in the current one. Humanism was also developed from a desire to re-live the Classical time period, or the golden age; therefore, the humanistic education consisted of studies of Greek, Latin, art, music and philosophy. This contemporary way of thinking inspired many philosophers and writers. I mean, school and english teachers who allow their students to choose their writing topic. I always thought that teachers shouldnt allow students to choose their writing topic. There are over billions of things in this world that we can write about and choosing one of all of them is the most difficult part of the work. I mean, how can they possibly expect us to keep our excellent grades when they give us the chance of choosing our freaking topic!! The hard part on this isnt the fact that we have to writing over 500 words, thats the easiest. But if I dont have a topic given by the teacher, then Ill freak out. I want to keep my high marks at this subject and, once this is a crucial paper for me to maintain my grades, Im just going to talk about how life sucks. Everyone is putting on so much pressure in you, and everyone is always expecting you to do your best that when you happen to fail at something everything falls down, and everyone gets disappointed and thats probably the reason so many teens get depressed so prematurely. Most doctors cant see it and they always end up saying She/He just needs some rest. That leaves us to suicide in adolescence. When someone brings this topic up everyone thinks it is related to bullying, but did you know that even the most popular kids in school commit suicide? And it sure wasnt because they were being bullied, when most of the times they are the real bully! You always say that we look so happy, and that we should enjoy these years because they are the best years of our lives, but guess what: theyre not anymore. I dont know if its because of technology or what so ever but Im telling you, adolescence is not the best period of our lives. Besides the pressure, that Ive already mentioned, if you dont have the right clothes, or the right mobile phone you are pushed away and left all alone because youre not one of them. You can be the finest kid around, you can have a flawless taste in music and you can even have already read the best books in history, but if dont were skirts that almost show up your ass, or if you dont like to play football, then youre a loser. Not having friends and feeling alone at this age are the worst feelings in the world. You start to feel lost and insecure but you dont want to tell anybody because that would make you seem so lousy and such a big loser. You start to accumulate all of those horrible things to yourself and when you cant take it anymore you become depressed, and its that depression that leads you to do something worst. Nowadays suicide is adolescence is one of the most actual problems, and nobody except for us, teens, can understand it. Dont trust our smiles, theyre probably hiding away the truth.
